The primary purpose of this experimental Web Site is to be of use to Philologists and Historians in their daily work. It is based on a database containing the structured texts (one database table per author), an overall Wordlist and a Wordlist per author.
The manuscripts are from Abbey of St. Gall. The Abbey library of St. Gallen is recognised to be one of the richest medieval libraries in the world. It is home to one of the most comprehensive collections of early medieval books.
